Flaxbourne Gadens, Milton Keynes
Wedding ReceptionFlaxbourne Gadens

We would both like to say a massive thank you to WGTD for playing at our Wedding Reception.
Our Wedding Day will be remembered for many things; the torrential rain that threatened to wash the Marquee away; the Bride (me) in pink wellington boots; edible flowers, the laughter and the Jaeger rounds.
But the single most talked about part of the day since has been The Band! You kept us dancing all night with songs to suit everyone. In fact, half our Guests complained they missed the evening Buffet because they never left the dance floor!
All ten band members are highly talented musicians and singers and their song selection and enthusiasm was second to none. We thoroughly recommend WGTD and only wish we had more occasion for a ten-piece band!
Thanks again

Thank you to all the members of  “Who’s Got the Dog” who made our anniversary party at the Belfry go off with a bang.

Always difficult to find a band to play at your function and we were simply blown away by Who’s got the dog?

They were so impressive and played so professionally all the numbers we could have asked for!!
Certainly made our party the success it was…..people were dancing and thoroughly enjoying the sound
Well done! Highly recommend them for any function
Many thanks

Who's got the dog provided us with amazing entertainment all night long, they had everyone's mood lifted after a heart touching presentation for our charity and had everyone on there feet dancing the night away!
They catered to many age ranges and made every song there own! Created a amazing atmosphere and were definitely memorable.

Our night wouldn't of been the same without them, we have had plenty of positive feedback from guests of our charity ball expressing how they loved the band and thought they did a fantastic job.

The evening made £10,000 for a very deserving charity

many thanks

I wanted to write to say a huge Thank You to all of 'Who's Got the Dog' for such a fantastic performance at The Firestarter Ball in Long Crendon on Saturday night.

You were absolutely brilliant and I have had so many positive comments from the guests about you all and asking how I found out about you!
It was great to see the dance floor packed all night and even the teenagers loved it which is pretty good when they were dancing amongst us oldies!

The range of music was perfect for the occasion and just the sight of you all on that stage was fantastic so thank you!

You will be delighted to hear that we raised £15,000 for the Florence Nightingale Hospice which is absolutely incredible and about double what I had originally anticipated so thank you again.

I will send you some photographs when I have them all.
Thanks again - you were perfect!

Regards

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to  all the band for such a fantastic performance last Saturday.  Your music was absolutely perfect and we all loved dancing the night away to the songs you played.

You created a magically atmosphere and we all danced our hearts out from the under 10’s to the over 60’s! I could not recommend you all more highly – you certainly MADE the evening following our dinner and I was thrilled and delighted that the dancing part of the wedding went so well.

Lucy and Jon are off on their honeymoon now, but I am sure they would like to thank you too when they return.

Very best wishes to you all,
Ros

Members Charity Dinner / Dance

On behalf of the members and guests of The Oxfordshire Golf Club who attended this year's Summer Ball, I would like to pass on the 'thanks' of so many to you and the band.
As we all know so well, a great evening becomes a 'fabulous memory' when shared with friends being well fed and entertained.
Who's Got The Dog were the perfect way to add the finishing touch. The  cry's of 'more...more'....long after you should have ended, shows how you were appreciated.

Congratulations and well done !!

Please pass on our thanks to everyone.

On behalf of Thame Runners club and the organising committee of our 25th anniversary dinner and dance, we'd like to thank and congratulate you and the band for a truly memorable performance last night.  After your terrific success at our 20th anniversary do at the Spread Eagle in 2003, we had to have to you back for more but didn't expect you to surpass your 2003 performance which you did.   The music was great, you had constantly had the dance floor full of runners (known for stamina rather than style and sadly reflected in our lack of dance style/moves - still enthusiasm counts more than ability).  What was also apparent was how much the band simply enjoyed performing themselves.

Are you available in 2033 when we have our 50th anniversary of Thame Runners?  We'll see how the dance floor moves with Zimmer frames (Nike branded of course!)

Cheers and thanks again

waddesdon.jpgPlease pass on from Fiona & myself thanks to the band.  The evening was fantastic and the music really provided the party atmosphere we were hoping for.
The band was fantastic and I found myself just a little horse this morning as a result of my attempts to sing along whilst on the dance floor.
Once again, many thanks to you all.

Pendley Manor, Tring
50th Birthday Party

pendley.jpgThe evening flashed past so quickly there was hardly an opportunity to talk to everyone.  From the feedback on the night it seems that a good time was had by all and people certainly seemed to enjoy catching up with old friends or even making new ones.
The fact that so many people made an effort to come contributed to making my 50th birthday celebration a truly unforgettable occasion and it will certainly be an evening I shall remember with pleasure for many years to come.
Tim, thank you so much for providing the band.  Everyone was bowled over by the wonderful music and outstanding musicianship; it made such an important contribution to the whole evening that it is hard to express how much it meant to me to have you and your friends providing the entertainment.  I hope that you all enjoyed playing as much as we enjoyed listening and dancing.
Best wishes

Chris

Phyllis Court, Henley-on-Thames
Breakthrough Breast Cancer Ball

phylliscourt.jpgOn behalf of Breakthrough Breast Cancer, I would like to thank you very much for entertaining us at our Charity Ball, which was held at Phyllis Court, Henley-on-Thames.
The event was a tremendous success, and your contribution helped us raise just under £11,000 profit for the charity. We had many compliments about your music and singing, and you certainly helped make the Ball special. I do hope you enjoyed the evening as much as our guests.
Breakthrough scientists have just made an important discovery in their quest to find a cure for breast cancer – they have identified the role of a breast cancer gene, and its workings, so they can design new drugs to target it. The money we raised will go towards the £7 million annual costs that Breakthrough Breast Cancer need to continue to fund their research programme.
Since our fundraising group started in 2000, we have raised over £60,000 for Breakthrough, and we are very grateful for your donation to help our efforts.
Due to the success of the Ball, we hope to arrange another, do you think you can bear to do it all again then?! I do hope so. We will be looking for another venue, and wonder if you might have any suggestions or contacts? If so, please could you let us know.
Kind regards

Secretary, Breakthrough Breast Cancer South Bucks

We would like to convey our thanks to you all, you were great and with amazing talent. (that includes you too Lee!).
We had a wonderful wedding day, complete with sunshine, and everyone seemed to be in happy spirits - I hope you all enjoyed it too.
Only sorry I didn't get the chance to chat to more people, but I was having too much fun boogying !

Lord Williams School, Thame
Charity Ball

lordwilliams.gifI would just like to say what a fantastic evening I had on Saturday at the Lord Williams School dinner dance. Initially when we were told there would be a live band playing by the name of "Who’s Got The Dog" I did not know what to expect. Well you blew myself and the rest of the guests away; it was obvious that you all enjoyed performing which makes a big difference to that of other bands who usually just go through the motions. Well done to you all and I look forward to seeing you perform again some day soon.

Nursery Charity Dance

I didn't think I could enjoy a Nursery School event so much but the band definitely made the evening. These guys can get even the most hardened sitters-down to get up and strut their stuff on the dance floor - quite an achievement in some cases! The people who didn't make it are now as "Sick as a Dog" having missed out on the best night of the year. They were truly entertaining and roll on next gig.

Thame United Football Club
Macmillan Cancer Relief Charity Ball

From the very first song the dance floor was full; it stayed like this for the entire evening! Pam & Matt’s powerful voices, and the band’s funky talent, made the evening a night to remember - they were applauded and begged for encores. The animation coming from Who’s Got The Dog was one of a quality rarely seen, and without their talent and professionalism our evening would not have been such a great success.
The variety of music stretched from golden classics to the latest hits and kept both young and old on the dance floor all night long. Tapping toes, swaying hips and smiley faces filled the room from start to finish. We could not have asked for more from the band and we are so very grateful for their support and generosity. We would strongly recommend Who’s Got The Dog for any special occasion or event. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our Charity Ball such a raving success!

What a fantastic night, a group of us arrived at about 7.30pm and the band had already set up so we didn’t get any pre-performance clue of what they were going to be playing. We got ourselves the best seats in the house and settled down with a few drinks to enjoy the performance.
There was a great mix of people of all ages just there to enjoy the music, I have seen the band play a few times and they never disappoint. This time they had a new singer who was amazingly talented, it seemed like he had always been with the band. They are really good at getting the crowd going and after a few numbers everyone was up dancing.
I had a really great time singing along to all the favourites and dancing with all my friends. I would recommend a night out like that to anyone!!!

oxfordshire4.jpgI went to see 'Who's Got The Dog' recently and was pleasantly surprised by the type of music they played. The band was very professional and friendly and at times it actually felt like I was at a live concert of some of the artists they covered.
It catered for all age groups and so would be suitable for anyone who enjoys listening to pop, rock, disco, easy listening and chart music.
The atmosphere was just wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone.
