Lesley, or the artist still known as Les started singing in stage shows first and then shortly after moved into fronting bands, be it a big band, rock band, function band or original funk.

Les was part of the original WGTD band back in 1998 when first formed.  Having been the regular singer with local big band "Joe Kelly's Big Band" a one off gig was commissioned for a party band in London for a corporate Christmas party. The band leader at the time, Joe, took on the challenge and formed the band, then known as Joe's Small Band.  Les moved on to his own projects after a short while, writing & performing his own music and focusing on the rock music scene before returning to WGTD in 2014 after Matthew moved away.
